Polylang hides Set Front Page in Customizer

Hi There. In a WP 4.5 + latest Polylang, the Set Front Page section in Customizer appears initially, then dissapears. GP premium doesn't change this. As soon as Polylang is deactivated, all ok. For what it's worth, when Poly is deactivated, the setting is correctly showing (a specific Static Page), but when it is activated, the Posts page setting is taken instead. What can be done?

Have you checked with the Polylang developers? Sounds like something going on in their plugin.
No, I did not. I will :) Until then, I noticed the behaviour is really buggy - i.e. with it active, suddenly Set Front Page does appear, and additionally it does not / does randomly take into consideration settings for Static/Posts...
Very weird, but you can always set the front page in "Settings > Reading" as well.
