Hi team,

I'd like to create a Podcast Archive that looks something like this with a player on top:

Now, they are using this plugin: https://smartpodcastplayer.com/

And I have purchased this plugin and it comes with that player thing at the top right out of the box via a shortcode:

The question is: is there a way that you guys know to hook that short code up to the top of that post like the reference site?

Also, how would I go about creating a custom Archive?

Hi there,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner!

Have you tried the Before Content hook? You should then be able to use some negative margin so it hugs the edges of the container like that.

What kind of custom archive? Like a custom post type?

Thanks for your reply.

Basically, a post that contains a podcast episode in it, which I will categorise under 'Podcast"

An archive will then be created to display that style that I asked about earlier.

I'll try it out and see what I find!

You could create a "Podcast" category, which will create a category archive by default.

Then you could use Elements to hook in the audio and target that category only.
