Hi Tom , if i don’t want to code the 404.php page and prefer to use a plugin.

Which plugin do you recommend me?

The idea is a plugin that works fine with generatepress.

I’ve installed the plugin 404page mais how can I hide the page in the sitemap ? (created with the plugin WP Sitemap Page) ? (I can hide it in the Menu)

i have installed 404page plugin, created a page for 404 errors, but unfortunately this page does not appear.
although I have linked the new page!

For exemple 404 Error Site :

Have you checked with the plugin author, yet? It may be a common issue that they know the answer to.

Do any of those pages change if you deactivate the plugin?

I think you might be looking at the No Results page. With that plugin activated, does it work if you go to a regular 404 page? yoursite.com/i-dont-exist
