Plugin for a table
6 replies · Started by Robert on July 23, 2018
I am creating a new website using GeneratePress for my business. A key part of my site is a table giving price list with several columns. It is somewhat complex, with different sections for different versions of the software that my training courses support. Here is how it looks on my old site: http://www.objectinnovations.com/PriceList.html. Can you suggest a suitable plugin that works well with GeneratePress? I do want the table to be responsive. Thank you.
Hi there,
There aren't too many options out there for responsive tables unfortunately.
See Tom's suggestion here:

TablePress has responsive mode in their pro version too I believe:

Hope this helps!
Thanks for quick reply! I will check these out.
No problem :)
Sadly, Tom is right -- there does not appear to be much out there. I looked at his suggestion earlier, and that plugin does not have a large installed base, has not been updated for quite a while, and is several versions of WordPress behind. I'm not willing to trust my mission-critical business website to it!
TablePress does not appear to have a Pro version. The author's own website that illustrates use of the plugin is not responsive: http://www.poorpigs.de.
I'm going to see if I can get the job down with Elementor.
I do appreciate your quick reply.
What about this?

The extension looks promising. I will try it.
