[Support request] Placing poster image on local video

I am trying to put a video on my website. I have it as a local mp4 file and I also have it on youtube.

I don’t want to show related videos when mine is finished, but I have read where youtube no longer allows this (?rel=0).

So instead I am using the Plugin “Easy video player” to play the video, but the initial screen is blank ( as you can see from the menu tab “local video.”

I also created a page using the method Tom posted on using a “poster” image so the image would show on the screen before the video starts. However, I have not been able to make this work either (see the menu tab “video codec.”

I love the way the youtube displays with an image, and I love its large display size.

Any ideas on the best way to accomplish my goals?

Actually I was able to get the “video method from codec” to work, but I would like to make it large, like the “Youtube version of YROP” is.

Hi Mark,

I don’t know a lot about embedding videos, unfortunately.

Have you looked into something like Vimeo? I think it has the ability to turn off related videos.
