Parallax Lagging in Element Header

I'm re-designing a site for a client and I'm having an issue with the parallax lagging.
I'll attach the website I'm designing.
The client site is here: https://www.nhyouthmovement.org
The clients site is on Squarespace and does not lag with its parallax. For some reason mine is lagging.
I did just move to a new home and have worse internet at the moment but still the Squarespace website is not lagging for me and the one I'm designing is.
Any ideas?

I just checked the site that's using GP and don't notice any lagging at all.
Do you have another device to test?

I see it a bit on that site ya. I've taking screen-recordings of the clients old website and the new one that I'm migrating to Generate Press. Clearly his does not lag and my new one does (his is on Square Space).
Someone else I spoke to mentioned there Parallax possibly being done with HTML not CSS?
How can I send videos?
Parallax is actually done with js.
Do you have another device to test by any chance or try browser incognito mode?
We haven't had this problem reported previously.
