    I’ve added a section to this page and set a background and turned on parallax. But I’m not seeing it do any sort of animation.

    I can actually see the parallax effect – it’s just very subtle.

    No way to do it without adding php? CSS maybe? On that other text page, I used CSS to make a parallax image…

    Our parallax is not using CSS so the filter is the only option.

    Ok. Is there some advantage to your parallax version versus using CSS? I find that CSS one moves too much in a way. Other content seems to overlap it at different page widths, for example.

    I don’t think there are any specific advantages – just different methods of doing things.
