I did that. Still broken :(

Weird. That usually fixes the issue.

Any chance you can activate Twenty Seventeen WordPress default theme to test?

That will help us to narrow down the potential cause.

I’d rather not... I don’t have the time, budget, or skills to fix it not that breaks the site.

Unfortunately it's really hard to pinpoint a one-off issue like this without some debugging methods (like the above).

You could try deactivating your plugins to see if it's a plugin conflict.

Any custom functions on the site?

All right, I duplicated the site in a staging area type thing.

I activated Wordpress 2017 theme.

Pagination issue persists.

I have also disabled ALL plugins.

Pagination issue persists. :(

So that eliminates themes and plugin from the cause.

Might be good idea to check with your host and see if they have any clues. Show them the set with twenty seventeen with no plugins activated.

If you show them your twenty seventeen setup with the problem, hopefully they have seen this before and can offer you some ideas.
