Hello, none of my pages using Elementor are showing correctly. When I go to customize the pages using Elementor, they show correctly, but when I preview that page, it doesn’t show correctly. I have opened up a ticket with elementor and they suggested that I complete the following.

    1. Perform a backup of your site. You can also create a staging site, which will have the same environment and on which you can troubleshoot or experiment, without affecting the live site.
    2. Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard.
    3. Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard.
    4. Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.
    5. Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, server cache (if possible).

    1. To rule out the possibility of a plugin or theme conflict, please deactivate all your plugins (besides Elementor and Elementor Pro) and see if it helps. If it solves the issue, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.
    2. If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty One and see if it makes any difference.‎‎
    3. Make sure your browser is updated.
    4. Check from a different browser or incognito mode to rule out the possibility of browser addon conflict.
    5. Switch the CSS print method back after following these steps, regardless if it helped or not.

I have performed all of these steps, and when I deactivated the GeneratePress Theme and used the Twenty Twenty one theme, the page shows up. When I go back to the GeneratePress Theme, the problem comes back.

    Hi Karen,

Can you provide us an error log of the site?

If you’re unsure how to do this, you can contact your hosting for assistance for configuration so the log file generates for your site. 🙂

    Let us know.

While waiting, do you still have the staging site up? If yes, any chance you can provide us temporary backend access an allow us to do some changes for testing?

You can use the private information text field to provide the details – https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

I don’t see the details yet.

We can continue the conversation on the private mail thread. You can send it there. 🙂
