    Hi Folks!

Can you tell me why the web page scrolls up a notch when you click on one of the top menu selections (inactive – just ‘#’) in my website (below), but not on the second one? They’re pretty much the same.

    Thanks

OHHHH! Excuse me, it only does it when I am in wp-admin. So it is not a big deal. But, for the heck of it do you know why it would do it in wp-admin mode, but not when logged out?

    Hi there,

Don’t think I’m seeing the issue on either of the site:

Is there anything I need to do before to make it happen or a specific browser?

    Let me know πŸ™‚

I now see that it seems that it does it if I have # in the menu link. In many years I have never noticed that. I though you were supposed to put # in the menu link if you did not want that selection to do anything. Is that wrong?

Not sure why it only happens in admin mode.

Might need to try the disable plugins steps if you want to get to the bottom of it πŸ™‚

That’s the right way for sure. It shouldn’t cause the page to scroll up though:

All set. Thanks. I’ll track it down, maybe…
