Page here image not showing on About page

I have a GP site at generatepress.michianait.net
I modified one of your site library sites, and have added an image to the Page Here block element type. I set the display rules to apply to the front page and the About page. However, the image is not appearing. Can you help?
Thanks,
Mark
Forgot some info.
I am trying to modify the "Merged Header" element.

Hi Mark,
We've updated the elements of the sites in our site library, if you haven't made many changes, I would recommend importing the site again.
If you've already made quite a few changes, then I would recommend using a block element - page hero to add the image as a container background image, the Header element is only for merge purposes now.
You can have a look at this video, should be helpful:

Let me know if you need further assistance :)
Ying,
I must be missing something here. I created a "block" element named Header for Test Page, added a container block, picked a background image, added an Advanced Heading inside the container block, and then set the display rules. However if you go to my site: generatepress.michianait.net, and select the Test Page menu item, there still is no header image.

Do you mean this part in the below screenshot?

Or it's not the block element you created?
Let me know :)
Hi Ying,
Yes, that's the part. But now it seems to be working.
What I'm confused about is the header. Before Gutenberg, I used the customizer to build a Page Hero and merge it with the site header.
Now that there is a "block" item in elements, what is the recommended procedure for creating a header, a page hero, and merging the two together?
Thanks
Mark
Hi Mark,
We now have several types of block elements, such as page hero, site header, content template, hook etc.
For example, if you chose site header as the block type, what you build in this block element will replace the default site header.
If you choose page hero, the block element will be under the default site header.
If you want to merge the header and page hero, we still have to create a Header element just for its merge function. Currently we're still trying to figure out how to migrate this function to the block element.
This video should be helpful if you are trying to merge block element - page hero with site header:

Ying,
Thanks again for your advice. However, I'm still confused on the steps necessary to create a page here that is merged with the site header.
From Tom's video (https://docs.generatepress.com/article/how-to-create-a-page-hero/), it seems like he just created one element. An element of type "Header." (maybe this video is pre the block editor - I didn't see a date on it).
But you mentioned that we had to create two types of "headers" in order to get the site header to merge with the page hero, but Tom seems to be only using the one.
Is it different with you use the "block" type of element to create the "headers?"
Thanks,
Mark
Using the Header element to create a page hero is kinda out of date, we are hoping to ditch the Header element completely in the future.
For example, we updated all site templates in our site library, just to replace the page heroes that were created with header elements with block elements.
So yes, I would still recommend using the block element to create a page hero, and just using the Header element for its merge function. If someday the Header element is gone, it'll be much easier to adapt.
Please watch the video I attached in my last reply, the steps should be very clear :)
