Is there a way to have your page headers on the Index? So for my Articles, I write the title and date in the Page Header on top of the image. Is there a way to use that on the index for my articles, getting rid of the standard text title and date? I can get one or the other. Image to show, but not the text, the text to show correctly, but no image. But once you’re in the article, it works as intended.

If so, it’s not possible to style each page header on the blog index, but you can add add content (title, a slider, image, any HTML) and enable the “Add to excerpt” option.
Background colors, images etc.. won’t work though.
Yeah when I add it to excerpt, it’s supposed to display where the featured image would be, right? http://sj3.me/ – The Hello World post is the example. I’m mostly trying to find a way to make it less redundant, and look more modern by having the title and date in the image. Here’s the settings I’ve selected. http://puu.sh/p3Zkr/abdcd1a1a3.png http://puu.sh/p3ZjI/644be45d8f.png
If it’s going to take the text and CSS I used in there, why wouldn’t it take the image? 😛
This is what I’m trying to accomplish: http://puu.sh/p3ZC4/0af509edfe.jpg
That’s right, but it won’t take the background image or color settings.
The idea behind it is so that you can add a slider or a video for example as your post image – it’s not built to allow you to customize each area like that unfortunately.
