Page Content in a Widget

Hoping you can help. On my site https://www.superco-opbros.com I want to have a right sidebar be "about the author." Using the default Wordpress user profile fields are terrible so I wanted to create profile pages like (https://www.superco-opbros.com/jason-porembski-glutenmifflin/) which can be linked. I also want to be able to display this data on the right sidebar without having to duplicate it elsewhere.
A pseudo example of what I want is here, https://www.superco-opbros.com/2020/10/03/i-won-a-taco-bell-xbox-series-x-you-can-too/, but I want to replace the link with the actual data.
Thanks in advance!
Hi there,
Is this a dynamic widget? How would it know which page to pull content from? Something like this might help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/insert-pages/
Thanks Tom, I will have to check that out. I was just hoping there would be a non-plugin way to do it as I am trying to keep the # of plugins down.
In my mind, the way it would work would be based on the author of the post. Which now that I think of it is more complex than first thought.
Yes, this would be pretty complex. Your best bet is to find a plugin where the code has already been written for you. Otherwise, a service like codeable.io might be worth checking out.
You guys are the best. Love GENERATEPRESS!!!
Thank you! :)
