Overall Footer Width

Hi Guys,
I looked around for an answer to this, but haven't found it...
Is there a way to make the overall footer width wider? I'd like to add a fourth widget, but it currently will stack below the third widget. I'd like them to be inline.
Thanks!
Hi there,
Any chance you can link us to the site in question?
You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.
Let me know :)
What if you just increase the container width?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/container-width/
Also looks like you are using Elementor to set the container width anyways so this option might be useful:

I'll try that, but that will change the width of the pages and header etc, correct? There isn't an easy way to just target the footer? :)
The site header/navigation is currently full-width so it shouldn't matter what container you use.
The width of everything else is all currently set by Elementor so it shouldn't matter either.
I'd say try changing the container first and see if anything else is effected.
Hi Leo,
I increased the container size and added another widget, but the fourth widget still stacks below the third. Perhaps I need to make each widget narrower? Let me know how to do this if you don't mind.
Thanks,
Matt
Hmm are you using functions to make each footer widget different width?

It should be default at grid-25 when you select 4 widgets.
Oh, yes I forgot that I did add a snippet for that. :). Thanks for the help, I'll take it from here.
No problem :)
