Hello, all!
I’m loving GeneratePress, thus far, but I’m looking for more styling features for the front page, without negatively affecting my page speed score.
I came across CrocoBlock (https://crocoblock.com/) and JetBlog (https://crocoblock.com/plugins/jetblog/), which is an add-on styling plugin for Elementor, and I’m wondering if anyone has any experience with this setup. Are they speed optimized, clean code, etc? Will it integrate with GeneratePress? Any speed issues? Thanks in advance for any help!

StaffCustomer SupportHi Leighton,

Unfortunately we don’t spend time digging into other plugin’s code to be able to provide comments on this.
Will it integrate with GeneratePress?
All plugins that are well-coded and built to work with WordPress themes will work with GP.
Any speed issues?
Same as the first note unfortunately. The easiest way to tell is to run a speed test before/after using the plugin.
Is it something that needs to be with Elementor? Page builders aren’t generally great for speed.
Lastly, have you considered our very own GenerateBlocks?
https://generateblocks.com/Definitely give it a shot if speed and performance are key factors for you π

Hey, Leo!
Thanks for the quick reply… I’ve looked at GenerateBlock and I’d prefer to use it if possible, but from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t have block functionality to create blog post grids, like are used for a magazine-style layout.

StaffCustomer SupportIt cannot be used to create post grids for now but we have plans to make that possible – need a couple of updates in GP first.
