I’ve tried using the Facebook Debugger tool to scrape my webpage / blog article so that the image, title, and description show up when shared as a facebook post.

I can see the open graph markup for image title and desciption when I view page source, but no matter how many times I ask Facebook to “Scrape Again” inside of the Facebook Debugger Tool, I do not get any update.

I get the same “Warnings That Should be Fixed” every time

    ——
    Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    Missing Properties
    The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id
    Bad Response Code
URL returned a bad HTTP response code.
    ——

However I can look in the source code and see that all that info is there. Do you have any idea why this is happening, or how to fix it?

I’ve tried adding the code to the header myself manually, and right now I’m currently using the “Open Graph for Facebook, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags (2.2.5)” Plugin that you recommended in previous posts. Neither method has worked.

    Hi there,

GP doesn’t control these things at all.

Have you checked with the plugin’s support?
