Not receiving updates

I'm using GeneratePress 2.1.4 and GP Premium 1.7.2.

When entering my license key and give it to save appears in red the following message "not receiving updates" and the following error "cURL error 35: error:1407742E:SSL routines:SSL23_GET_SERVER_HELLO:tlsv1 alert protocol version".

I have tried to reinstall GP Premium manually and the error persists. All the modules are active.

How can I install the next updates?

Hi there,

I believe this means you need to update OpenSSL on your server.

If that doesn't work, make sure cURL and PHP are up to date.

Your hosting support can help you with these :)

While I try to do what you tell me.

Is this error serious?

Is my license active?

As I have it now I can use all the modules without any apparent problem.
If I did not have it, I could not use premium functions. Or do I get confused?
Before this version had 1.4.3 installed. It came out to me that the license was active but inadvertently I clicked on "Activated" and it was when he appeared "Not activated".
Then I deactivated gp, deleted it and manually downloaded version 1.7.2. and even with the same problem, I can use all the modules.

If I can not solve that error. Could I continue updating in future versions without problem?

Thanks for your help.

It's not serious, it just means you won't be able to update the plugin within your Dashboard.

Instead, you'd just need to manually update the plugin (until the issue is fixed on your server).

Let me know if you need more info :)
