Hello there. My default blog page is https://stockwizaards.com/blogs .I already have 2 lines of text written in the content area of that Page. But AFTER I SELECTED IT AS my blog page default, its not showing those text. Can you tell why ??
Hi there,
The blog page is not a standard post template, it is a function that requests your post list which replaces the Content.
If you want to add content before (or after) the blog list then you can use the Header and Hook Elements
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/elements-overview/
Alternatively you can use a plugin like Toms WP Show Posts to add a post list inside your page content.
I want text only to be visible on that particular link like this one https://neilpatel.com/blog/
.Even header is not working on that page. How do i use hooks for only one specific blog page ??
Hello there. Can you respond on how i can add separate line of text in blog page.
So create a new Header Element, add your content then set the display rules to Blog. If that doesn't work try the Front Page.
You can use the Display Rules inside your Hook Element to target the Blog page specifically: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-element-overview/
As David mentioned above, WordPress doesn't allow for static text to be added to the content area on the blog.
