No valid plugins were found

I just bought Generatepress premium but when I try to install it I get an error message:
"Installing Plugin from uploaded file: gp-premium-1.7.2.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin installation failed.
Return to Plugin Installer"
We are currently using the free version.
Please help me out.

Hi there,
That's weird. It generally means you are installing the free theme as the premium plugin but that doesn't seem to be the case for you.
Can you do me a favor and make sure you've done all the steps according to this article?

I don't know if the file got corrupted before. This time everything worked ok.
