Next/Previous with Category-Specific Navigation

I wanted to change the links at the bottom of posts to say Next / Previous, rather than just show the title of the post with an arrow. I also want to display only posts from the specific category. So I found two separate posts that appear to accomplish that.

1. Add Next/Previous to Links:

2. Next/Previous Links within Category:

When I used just the first code, it correctly added the 'Next' and 'Previous' text before the link title, but obviously didn't restrict categories. So I deactivated it and used the code for the category restrictions, but that lost the 'Next/Previous' text from the links.

Can you please help me figure out what I need to change to get the 'Next' and 'Previous' text added to the links?
