Newbie Need Help with Header Image

Hello Guys,

i have the basic knowledge about HTML an CSS.. but i am new in wordpress, themes and all the stuff.

I created a new website and want to add a picture in my header. But where? There are so many options and i can’t find it.. I want to add a picture in my header within the headline.
And can you explain me how to set the scale of the picture to?

Sorry for this newbie questions but i must start to learn this. Thanks!

If you want your logo to display next to your site title, you’ll need to do this: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/logo-next-to-site-title/#post-118692

You’ll need to scale the image in an image editor of your choice, or you can use the WP image editor: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/image-editing/
