Hi,

Neither happyforms nor contact form 7 seem to function from the contact page, but they work on the home page.

I have tried disabling every type of caching, including server-side

I have disabled every other plugin on by one, still doesn't work

I've already cleared cache.

I'm using the newest version of everything.

No error message, just the submit button and forms go grey and no email received.

Help appreciated!

Hi there,

Weird one for sure.

What if you make the Contact page the home page?

Does that break the form?

well the whole site breaks because of other settings, but yes, when i set the contact page as a home page the form works

does this give you a hint on what's going on? hopefully on how to fix it :)

I've never heard this before.

What if you just create a new contact page?

Tried creating a new page, and the contact form won't send

Hi there,

The home page is using a form called happyforms-2439, while the contact page is using a form called happyforms-4091.

Can you make sure the form on the contact page is set up correctely?

Let me know :)

yes, those are correct and set up identically within their respective settings

Since one form is working, the other is not working, the only cause I can think of is incorrect settings within the plugin.

GP doesn't have control over the forms. So it should not be a theme issue.

But if you can provide credentials to your site, we can have a look for you, might be able to help :)

You can use the private info field.

Thank you Ying, I'd greatly appreciate that.

That's absolutely weird!

These 2 forms are exactly the same, I didn't see anything special on Contact page.

Can you try to disable all plugins, then add the form to other pages, eg. sample page?

Let me know how it goes :)

I just tried deactivating all plugins other than GP and happyforms, and it still won't work - could the error be somewhere in the custom CSS that comes in generatepress by default?

CSS won't cause this kind of issue, and if GP does have some code interfere with it, we would've received tons of reports. So I highly doubt it.

You can try switch to twenty twenty one theme to test as well.

then add the form to other pages, eg. sample page?

Have you tried this yet? Let me know.

I just tried adding a form to another page, and it also doesn't work

Can I add a testing page to your site to test?
