Need to replace default logo with svg xml

Ah thank you but I didn't want to add yet another plugin to my website. Perhaps Ill just have to consider this task a fail

If you mean the SVG Support plugin, then i wouldn't be concerned about it having a performance impact as it only runs in the Admin. It simply adds the mime support and necessary security sanitisation for uploading an SVG.
