Sooooo...I managed to mess up my First Post Template element....and for whatever reason, I can't get it to format the layout again.

Can someone post up the entirety of the original TEXT layout? I need to overwrite.

My bad...lol

Hi there,

if you want the original theme styles, then simply delete the Content Template Block Element(s) you have created.

I modified the existing file.

Can't for the life of me to get it back to normal by editing....so I just want to "start over".

Sorry

Hi Chris,

I'm not sure I fully understand your issue here.

Did you import the template from the site library? Or did you create some content template elements?

Could you please explain a bit more?

I'm trying to modify a category page.

That page pulls "First Post Template" element.

I edited THAT element that was default with GeneratePress...and now it's messed up and I can't revert back, nor can I find that template anywhere in the download.

Not sure what else I can say?

I modified the existing file.

Sorry

Did you mean the parent theme files?

If yes, you can always get a copy from our GitHub Page here - https://github.com/tomusborne/generatepress

You can search around and copy the original codes of the file you've edited from there. :)

Guys, I downloaded GeneratePress already (how do you think I'm using it?) ;-)

I CANNOT find what I need which is the "First Post Template".

If you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Hi Chris,

None of us actually understand your question here.

What is the First Post Template you are referring to? There isn't such thing built-in in GP.

First Post Element Template

It's an element in your template.

Which template are you referring to?

To be honest, I have no idea what I chose last week?

Is there a way to look it up on my theme editor?

Unfortunately not.

Can you link me to the page in question?

I'll try to identify it :)
