[Resolved] Need Logo and head in one line

Hi,

Im a newbie in wordpress.
I want 2 things

1. I want my logo and the header menus in single straight line. They are not alligned.
2. I want the upper whitespace(on top of the menu and logo) to be utilised. It being wasted with current settings.

Hi there,

simples way is to go Customizer > Layout > Header and enable Navigation as Header.
Then Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation and adjust the Menu Item height to size the logo.

If you want to add some other content above the header then you can use the Customizer > Widgets > Top Bar.

Thanks for the reply. I know we can adjust the menu height to bring it to the top. But Im not able to do the same with the logo. There is no option to bring it to the top.

If you enable Navigation as header then the Logo and the Menus will be inline. Then adjusting the Menu Item Height will also increase the size of the logo , this is optional.
