Need help with positioning elements in primary nav when placed in sidebar

Hi!

I am trying to make my site's primary nav (placed in sidebar) look like this: https://seths.blog/

1. placing/positioning the search box & the subscribe boxes
2. placing multiple sub section (titles/headers) and links below the each of them

as in the site mentioned above.

I know CSS a bit... and can do some php as well... I am looking for some direction - not the actual code. Can you help?

Hi there,

I would recommend checking out the Sider Template in our site library:
https://generatepress.com/site-library/

You should be able to use similar CSS there.

I'm looking to do exactly the same on the right hand side of my website, which is quite empty at the moment (https://sporvision.com)

Would I need to change my theme in order to add multiple sub sections (titles/headers) and links below the each of them? Or is there a plugin that you recommend for this? Or something else?
