[Support request] Need help with Excerpts and Site Width

I’ve two queries related to my new site…

1) I am trying to fix the excerpts on the blog page. I’ve tried various times to fix using the site width and the content container option but the excerpts are coming on the right side of the image. how do I fix this?
I ideally want those excerpts just below the image…See attached screenshot 1

2) I’ve two headers on the navigation page and I want to have the same view of both headers to be similar – Blog type view – with images on the left side and excerpts below the image and with a side bar. But on one of these menu items it displays the full content of the posts…Although both menu items are published as posts.

Please suggest what changes I need to make…My side is under construction mode right now and not yet published online…
