Need help transitioning from Latest Posts Page to Static Page

Hi everyone!

I'm using the marketer theme, and my website is currently using the setting "latest posts page" as the home page. I want to move to the static page setting, but every time I create a "blog block" for my static home page, it's only showing the title linked to the blog page. I want it to show the featured image, description, read more button, etc. I tried to make it show using the blog settings in the customize section of the theme. Am I missing something?

Hi there,

If I understand correctly, you are trying to add some posts on the static front page?

If so a plugin like WP Show Posts should help:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-show-posts/
