Navigation on Landscape Mobile View Wont Stay Dropped Down

Dear Support,
When I view our website in landscape view while on a mobile device, the mobile menu turns to a regular menu which is fine. The problem is that when you click to reveal the dropdown, it reveals it for a second but then tries to load the first link.
(Happens on Ipad Mini and Samsung 9+ anyways.)
How can we make it so that it stays dropped down to give users a chance to review the dropdown entires?

Can you try on https://wp-themes.com/generatepress (WP.org preview site)?

Thanks for the fast reply. I have confirmed the problem is present on
https://wp-themes.com/generatepress as well. Happens in Chrome, Firefox, and Samsung Internet browsers on samsung 9+.
On ipad mini, the issue only happens on firefox. Worked good in safari and chrome.

Hmm, I can reproduce the issue on your website with my iPad, but no where else (using Chrome).
I'll do some more digging.
