Navigation Color

I am not sure if I had he problem already but the color of the header text is different when scrolling down and using sticky header.
I am using an element called merged header but the text header color is set to white there as well.
I am using the color plugin, do the settings not apply when using sticky navigation?
Or do any theme setting / css influence this?

Is there an instance where you actually want the site title to be black/#222222 color?
If not what if you just set it to white/#ffffff in Customizer > Colors > Header > Site Title?

I always tried setting this option in the nav menu not in header :facepalm:
