I'm using a plug-in called blank slate which is supposed to give me a blank page that I can set up as a full width page without any sidebar,footer or header, however it is showing up black background and not white.

I'm sure it's something in generate press that is setting up my pages to be default black, even though most of my website has a default white background, my home page has a black background. Is this what is causing the problem and how do I make a blank page white instead of black?

you can see the problem in the URL I am providing below. Please advise

Hi there,

I’m using a plug-in called blank slate which is supposed to give me a blank page that I can set up as a full width page without any sidebar,footer or header

You should be able to do that using the built-in options without the plugin;
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sidebar-layout/#different-sidebar-layouts-for-individual-pages-and-posts

About the black background, looks like it's currently used in body background in the customizer. Is that correct?

thank you, I can disable all the elements by using "content only" which removes the header, footer and sidebar but doesn't remove the top menu. If I can remove that as well, my problem is solved. How would I do that on a single page?

Hmm Primary menu is included in the disable element metabox.

Is it not working for you?

Can you link me to the page in question?

url removed

it works now thank you

No problem :)
