My URLs somehow changed from domain/yyyy/mm/filename to domain/filename

A post that used to be here:

is no longer there. It's here:
https://whitehousewatch.com/trumps-bizarre-list-of-accomplishments-is-like-his-binky/
So all prior links including Google search results are broken.
I'm not sure when this happened. Certainly not sure how.

Hi there,
GP doesn't control the permalinks, WP does, can you check Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks to see if it has changed. If so you should be able to put it back and hit the save button a couple of times to rebuild those links.
OK thanks. That did it. I switched back, although I fear it will break more recent links. I have no idea how that changed, though, I certainly didn't do it on purpose ever.
