My plug in says to update. I tried

When I look in my plug in area it tells me there is a new version. I entered my license key and wanted automatic up dates but it says there is no automatic updates for for this plug in.
If so how do I update it then?

Just to confirm, you've added your license key and clicked the "Save" button?: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/updating-gp-premium/
Once that's done, the update should be available in the "Plugins" area, or in "Dashboard > Updates".
