Mutliple Images in Header with text on hover

Hello! I apologise if I've used the wrong terminology in the topic title. I'm looking for some guidance on how to do something on a new site. We would like to have 4 different images across the top of the page. When a user points to an image, we want it to change to text. We would like each page to have different images (ie each page will have 4 different images to the other pages). I hope this all makes sense.

Is this possible? I'd appreciate any guidance

Many thanks
Maria

Hi there,

sounds quite complicated :)
Are you able to give us a link to your site so i can see what tools you currently have.
You can edit your original topic and use the Site URL for privacy.

Hi David

Maybe I'm asking for something that isn't possible. I've updated my original topic with the site URL for a website I have been asked to move across to WordPress so we can update it and make it fully responsive. As you will see, the original site has different pictures at the top of each page, and text at the bottom of each page which describes each picture. I was hoping to change this so the pictures would be on each page, but the description would appear after hovering over the image. However, I do totally appreciate that this may not be possible.

If you get the time to take a quick look, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Many thanks

Maria

So you could use one of the responsive gallery plugins that provides Captions, the caption could be used for the description. We could then help with some CSS so on desktop the caption appears on hover? BTW some of the premium gallery plugins or a plugin like The Grid has these built in.

Thanks David! Which plugin would you recommend? Would The Grid be the best one?

I really appreciate all your help

The Grid does provide a lot of functionality especially when it comes to making things look pretty. But for just Image Galleries, Envira gets a lot of good feedback.

Depending on whatever other requirements you hve for the site, and if you're not into HTML / CSS then you may want to look at a Page Builder, as they provide you with this requirement and more.
