I have an older site running GP Premium 1.2.89 with the GP Hooks plugin, but I notice that the new version of GP doesn’t have a separate “Hooks” to activate. If I upgrade my old site, what happens to the Hooks I have in use? Do I have to do something first to preserve them?

No, they will still exist and function as normal.
