    Hello,

Is it possible to move the header a bit lower, so we can have a part of the hero image showind above it?
Something like merging the header with the content and giving the header a top margin

    Thanks
    Harris

    Hi there,

    Not sure if I understand.

Any chance you can link us to the site in question?

You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.

    Let me know πŸ™‚

    Hello
Site is not online. I added a sample site in order to make it clear.

    Hi there,

That site is using the Navigation as a Header. Which you can do like so:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/

Just omit Point 6 for disabling the site header. You can then adjust the header padding in the customizer to create some space. And make sure the primary nav is located below the header. Should work πŸ™‚

Does that mean that I will need to set the header bg to transparent and the navigation bg to white?

    Yup that sounds about right.

You can always test it out first and see if it achieves what you are looking for.

I feel like my reply was for another post as it didn’t make any sense.

Sorry about that and glad it worked for you πŸ™‚
