Mobile menu, Navigation search, and Hamburger menu

Hello,

I am using the Mobile Header.

I was trying out Navigation Search to see if I liked it. But when I enabled Navigation Search, it caused the hamburger menu to drop below the logo on mobile.

I now have Navigation Search disabled. The funny thing is, even with Navigation Search disabled, the hamburger menu is still underneath the logo on mobile. I can't figure out how to get it back to the way it was before.

This post suggested disabling WP Rocket. I tried that, but it didn't work.

I also tried clearing WP Rocket cache as well as WP Engine cache.

When I am using the mobile preview in the Customizer, the mobile header looks correct. However, on my actual cell phone (iPhone X), the hamburger menu is below the header. I am using Private mode and closing the window before reloading, so there shouldn't be a cache on my cell phone.

Thanks,
Margaret

Hi there,

first thing i would suggest is to NOT lazyload the logo.
Whatever plugin you're using for lazyloading they generally provide an option to exclude images with a specific CSS Class. You can use: is-logo-image

Now the issue you have on narrow mobile devices is the size of the logo.
You may want to consider using the Mobile Header ( in Customizer > Layout > Header ) and uploading a more mobile friendly sized logo.
Smaller logo will take up less space to accomodate the hamburger menu on the same line.

Then if you can enable the Navigation search i can take a look at the issue.
