Is there a way to configure GP so the mobile menu has similar behavior to the WP Twenty Nineteen theme? More specifically, the way the top level nav options are presented and when one of them is expended it slides horizontally to only show the second level options below the top level option selected. Then it includes a link to go back up a level or you can select a second level option and have the menu slide over to only show the third level options for that second level option selected. I find that interface much easier than the accordion approach. If there’s not a way to accomplish that currently, it’d be great to have it considered as an enhancement request. Also, if GP can’t do it now – is there a plugin you’re aware of that can do this? Thanks for any info you can pass along.

    Hi there,

interesting – i think it would be quite complicated to achieve with standard WP nav menu structure used by GP. Although i may have a nose out what TwentyNineteen is doing. There is this plugin:

Thanks for the mmenujs link – will look into that one. Looks like the newly released Twenty Twenty theme went with an accordion style mobile menu. Interesting article: https://www.nngroup.com/articles/mobile-subnavigation/
