Mobile menu button not showing

There's a couple reasons this could happen.

1. This line is in your child theme style.css file: @import (../generatepress/style.css);

If it is, remove it and it should work.

2. A plugin is causing a conflict, try #1 on this page: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/debugging/

The first item didn't apply so I deactivated all my plugins - I found that the WP Hummingbird plugin was causing it. Probably because I had css and js files combined.

Another question if you don't mind - would you recommend using a child theme instead of the original GeneratePress?

Using a child theme is useful if you're adding custom page templates or overwriting core templates.

If not, you're safe using the parent theme :)
