I now have the new site working at https://bowmanvillegolf.ca and now I’m tweaking. Just starting @media custom CSS, which I know nothing about.

On mobile it very often shows the wrong colours – i.e. main title is blue and page title is yellow.

How can I fix it so that it always loads the correct colours (green / gray)?

    Thank you!

The main title and page title look the same to me on desktop and mobile.

Can you show me a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

It is intermittent on desktop and mobile, but happens more often on mobile.

See image from my desktop at http://tinypic.com/r/i3xvee/9

Mobile shows the same colours, but again, it is intermittent.

    I’m seeing a completely different website: https://www.screencast.com/t/FkJP4o2kxrl2

Yes exactly! You are seeing the correct website. As I said, it is an intermittent problem, when instead of the dark green background, sometimes you see blue and yellow, especially when it is taking a while to load

I have compressed the slider images as much as possible but they are still about 100KB each. Is that enough to slow it down? Are those colours some kind of default colours for when the page isn’t loading?

Hmm, issues like that are usually a product of caching.

Unless of course there’s some sort of mobile redirect happening on the server side of things, but that would typically work every time.

I do use WP-Rocket, but of course am clearing it and browser cache all the time.

Re it being server side, interesting thought. This is a new website on a new server. If it persists I will ask my Systems Admin.

    Thanks Tom!

No problem – hope you find the culprit 🙂
