Missing Site Title
5 replies · Started by Grace on June 5, 2021
I was making changes to header presets mobile settings when my site title went missing from the desktop view of my website even though the customization for site identity shows it there and I am not hiding it. I was also, at the time, editing/playing with a header widget for social media buttons. The site title is clickable but not visible and the clickable area is now the size of the tagline.
The header width before the changes was set at current. It is now set to full and placed after, inner width contained. I thought I might have inadvertently tweaked the top header padding but it is now set to 60 to allow for the site title, even a setting of 100 px does not have any effect. In mobile view, the site identity is visible.
I use a GP Element (hook) for the site title, for an Adobe font, and that seems in order. Checking the typography settings, the font size seems small (25 px) but it was not anything I had edited.
Here's a link to the website.

Hi there,
change the Customizer > Colors > Header --> Site Title
Hi David, thank you. That worked. I hadn't thought of checking colors since I hadn't done any editing there. Any idea how the site title color would have changed? I was tooling around looking at how I might center align and stack title, hamburger, header widget, and search tool for mobile and never did find a way. Any documentation on that would be much appreciated. And again, thank you.
Not sure why the site title color would change unfortunately - the customizer isn't capable of doing this and we haven't had other reports on this.

Please open separate topics for each of your question then I can point you in the right direction :)
Thanks!
Okay, Leo. Thanks.
No problem :)
