Hello,

I have read several posts about how to move the Categories and meta info to the top of each blog post, but any attempt I have made to implement this on my website has failed. I hope you can give some direction.

What I would like to do is have my mata info in the following format:

You are here: Category / Blog Title

Author: ___________ // Last updated on _____________ Leave a comment

How would I go about doing this? Thank you!

Hi Lina,

The easiest way to achieve this is through a Page Hero - Block Element.

Here is our article with regards to this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/

In this article, you’ll also find multiple video you may refer to or follow to create the look you’re going for.

Hope this helps! Fell free to reach out if you’ll need further assistance. :)

Thank you! That was immensely helpful. I've been able to organize everything in the format I need by watching those videos.

One more thing: How can I change the typography for different parts of the meta information.
For example, if I want to make the "Before text" italicized in one section...
Or if I want to change the font colour of the Author Name. Is this possible?

Thank you again

Hi there,

if you want to have separate styling controls then you need top add them as their own headline element eg.

headline block "with your before text" followed by headline block "with your dynamic author"
