Meta Slider Installation

I am trying to add the meta slider to the header element as a short code, but it doesn't seem to work. The short code I am using is similar to [metaslider id="1050"], am I doing something wrong here?

It should work like that by default.
Does it work if you add the same shortcode in normal content?
