Meta changes made in Yoast “disappearing.”

Hi, I’ve been using yoast. I’ve noticed that changes I’ve made to meta settings “disappear.” I’ll later visit the page in the backend and all of the saved changes will be gone.
I’d be very grateful for your help.
Here is the conversation I’m having with my seo consultant.

Hi M, We are still investigating this. Just to clarify, are all of the cases when the meta information reverted back unexpectedly from changes you made in june? thanks, Frank
answer: correct, on most pages it looks like the SEO changes I had made via Yoast got overwritten back to default settings. - on most pages both the meta description and SEO page title that I had set in Yoast have reverted back. More specifically, the meta description reverted back to blank, and the page title to an automated %title% %page% %separator% %sitename% setting. This is the example you see in slide 1. Your developer will probably see that some pages have the correct manually inputted title and description, but that's because I started correcting them last week thinking maybe I didn't save some - but then I stopped when I realized it was a more widespread issue. - In addition, there were a few pages I had set to No Index in Yoast (like Terms, on slide 2), which reverted back to default 'Yes' value
Hi there,
have you spoken with Yoast? As that doesn't sound like a regular kind of conflict to me, as those generally cause a problem when trying to use the plugin. And that sounds like something has cleared the Yoast DB tables or the plugin cannot find them.
