Merge with site header Issue

Hello,

I'm using Elementor Pro and Generate Press Pro on a site I'm building. I want the navigation bar to be merged with the content and have it transparent. I tried using the Merge with site header but whenever I do, the whole navigation bar is gone.

A few things to consider: The header is disabled but I put the navigation-alignment to below the header. I've tried turning off all my plugins except elementor and generatepress but it didn't do anything. The site im working on is on my localhost.
