I would like to achieve the following styling for my header.

Is it possible to position a ‘donate’ button like this?

How do I align the navigation near the bottom of the header block, but keep the logo aligned towards the top of the header block?

You should be able to add the donate button as a header widget:

Then set your navigation to below header, align right:
