Menu language WPML Generate press

Hello,
I created a website with elementor and generatepress.
I installed wpml and created the languages,
in the mobile menu, the language section instead of being displayed (and show the other languages), simply reload the page where you are (because it goes to the same language where you are).
How can I make the first language button display the other languages, instead of reloading the page.
Thanks.
Hi there,
Are we talking about the parent menu item being the current language?
I'm not sure if it's possible to change that - you'd have to ask WPML if they have an option/filter to switch the parent item to a different language.
I'm talking about when you are, for example, in Spanish, on a cell phone, and you open the drop-down menu, when you click on "Español" instead of displaying the other languages (as in the arrow) the same page is loaded where you are, in other websites that we have used wpml (but don't used generate press) this does not happen, it simply displays the other languages.
Hi there,
GeneratePress 2.2 was just released, a new option in Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation > Navigation Drop Down provides the option Click Menu Item this should resolve the problem.
this solves the problem for mobile,
but now when I'm in pc mode, the menu don't automatically display menus when you go over with the mouse,
I would need you to do this.
The solution would be to use the Hover dropdown type, but have that parent item use # as the URL, instead of linking to the current language.
Unfortunately, there isn't really another way to address this. The user would need to tap the dropdown arrow on mobile to reveal the other languages to choose from.
These menus are created by wpml, I can't choose to put #.
I think you should fix this, with the MegaMenu plugin it works perfectly.
But I would like to be able to do it with Generate press directly.
Is there a possibility that you will implement this change?
We don't have any control over the WPML menu item output. Have you checked with their support to see if there's an option/filter we can take advantage of?
