Hi, I have been trying to build a mega menu like the one in your article in your theme documentation, however, it only seems tow work properly on the sticky nav and not on the normal nav. Any ideas?
thanks

Hi Sorry I am using a local Mamp server for development. See below link to some screen shots illustrating the issue..

Hi Leo, if you follow that then it no longer works on the sticky nav either. Using a static value for the width seems counter-intuitive as the idea is for it to be full width which would need to be a dynamic value, not static pixels.
I am sorry I cannot provide a link it is a Mamp server so I am sure you can understand. Can you recommend a good service that can be used for development that is not a local machine?
thanks

StaffCustomer SupportI assume you plan to take the site live eventually?
If so just set up a staging site first?

Hi Leo, please see below staging site, you can see the issue relating to the mega menu not working on the regular primary nav but working on the sticky nav:
Let me know what you think.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
This is happening because your navigation is set to float right.
Instead, I suggest using your navigation as your header: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-as-a-header/
That should fix it.

Hi Tom, this is weird, there is no option to select that as per your documentation, see screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tt6w09i6y8v4dim/Screenshot%202019-06-17%20at%2010.06.45.png?dl=0
In the docs it is below the padding settings but I do not see it.
Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
are you on the latest version of GP Premium 1.8.3 ? It was an option made available in 1.8.
If you’re up to date then remove any logo you have assigned to the Primary Navigation.Documentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/

Hi David, yes I am using version 1.8.3…
I have no logo set on the primary navigation options in Customizer and I have just removed the logo from the layout > header settings but that did not help. Any other reason why I cannot see that option?
thanks

StaffCustomer SupportThat’s strange. You are sure that there isn’t a navigation logo uploaded?
If so can you try clearing any caching plugin you might have activated?
Let me know π

No Cache plugin. No Logo in primary Nav settings. See screen shot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pheh8bb11t601hi/Screenshot%202019-06-17%20at%2017.20.44.png?dl=0
Is there anywhere else that should not have a logo for this to work like site identity?
thanks

StaffCustomer SupportHmm that’s the only place.
Any chance you can quickly run through #1 here to eliminate any plugin conflicts?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/If that doesn’t help, can you keep all plugins disabled and send the dashboard access using Account Issue here:

Hi Leo, I disabled all plugins except woocommerce and GP Premium and I still cannot see that check box in the customizer.
I will send the login details now.
thanks
