Maintaining logo appearance and size without cropping

Theme: 2.3.2
Plugin: 1.8.3
WP: 5.2.2
Hi,
Logo: 285x79 (looks crisp in mobile view). However tablet, and more so in desktop, it looks somewhat out of focus. Meaning, logo wording is not crisp. I figure because the theme uses "cropping", and my logo falls outside this standard size, that's why it's looking slightly out-of-focus per se.
Is the logo set to a default size? And if so, can I change this size? Last but not lease, how?

P.S. Can't provide site URL as I'm setting this up via a closed staging server.
Hi there,
so if you have the Logo being display in the Site Header ( as default ) then it will be displayed at the original full size that you uploaded. You can changes its width in the Customizer > Site Identity.
If the Header is set to use Navigation as Header then the logo size will be based upon the menu item height of the primary navigation.
