Lost translation after updating

Hello,
Updating the theme to 1.3.28 I have lost the translations to spanish (leave a comment, post comment button...). Before updating it was ok. What to do? How to avoid it for future updates?
(I use child theme)

Hi there,
We started using WordPress.org translation packs: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-themes/generatepress
If you'd like to complete the translation there (to 100%), I can request that you become and editor to approve the translations. Then the theme will be completely translated to Spanish.
